BT Health

More than sixty years’ experience of working closely with the National Health Service (NHS) has provided BT with a unique understanding of the needs and challenges faced by the health sector.
BT has been at the forefront of developing new technologies for healthcare providers for many years, bringing real benefits to both patients and medical professionals alike.
Its relationship with the NHS dates back to when the very first NHS hospitals were established in 1948 and BT, which was then known as Post Office Telecommunications, provided telecommunication services.
More recently, BT has become increasingly involved in the evolution of communications and IT in the modern NHS, helping to transform the way that thousands of NHS employees, departments, and agencies communicate with each other and exchange information across thousands of sites.
